MN Tot Spots - Tamarack Nature Center

Yesterday when it was a gorgeous out we decided to trek out to Tamarack Nature Center! This was our first time here and I'm thinking it won't be our last because it's such a nice place for free! The kids loved walking the paths, running around picking up branches and sticks, playing inside the nature building (who knew they had animals in there and kid stuff?) and climbing all over in the Discovery area. Looking online at their site, it looks like the place is really fun when the weather is nice. I can't wait to take the kids again in a few weeks when it's warmer, and bring all their beach toys to play in the sand pits!

Giant frog made out of all recycled maerial! Kids were in awe.

Evan next to the giant frog!

Noelle checking out the turtles! She loved them, and why not? They were super cute!

Feeling all the different furs and looking at things under the microscope!

Wildlife sounds!

Animal puzzles in the Children's Corner.

Checking out all the birds and ducks on the wall.

Rock climbing.

I'm excited to come back in the summer when the water is running through this area!

Bye bye froggie! See you next time!
